Kitchen Manager:
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Kitchen Manager to help organize the kitchen’s activities along side our current Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef. You will be working as a three person management team to command the facilities. Expect to create and inspect dishes before they arrive at the customers table ensuring high quality and contentment. To be successful a candidate should be organized and process based in style in order to succeed with our team. It is also vital that the individual creates an atmosphere of collaboration and is able to train all employees who will work in the kitchen, especially with new and inexperienced individuals. The individual must also be reliable hard working and positive in order to work with our team.

- Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
- Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings
- Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
- Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
- Arrange for repairs when necessary
- Remedy any problems or defects
- Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
- Oversee the work of subordinates
- Estimate staff’s workload and compensations
- Maintain records of payroll and attendance
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
